You are able to upgrade your plan at any time. This will not extend your term, but instead keep your original end date and provide you with a prorated amount of carats based on how far you are into your current term. Your plan will auto-renew on your annual renewal date at the upgraded plan tier unless you request to downgrade or cancel prior to renewal (we are reasonable people though — if you forget to downgrade or cancel and notify us within 7 days of your auto-renewal we will be happy to make the change for you!)
Cancellations or downgrades, on the other hand, can only be made at the end of your one-year term. You can submit a request for the change or cancellation at any time through our portal on the pricing page, but it’s important to understand that regardless of when you submit the request, the change will not take effect until your one-year renewal date.
Remember, any unused carats will roll over to the following year as long as you renew. This means that you can consider downgrading your plan based on your projected number of weddings and the amount of carats you have left over. Alternatively, if you happen to run out of carats before your renewal date, you can purchase more at the same discounted rate as your membership tier if you don’t think upgrading to the next plan up makes sense. This gives you the flexibility to adjust your plan and, if needed, sign up for a larger plan with an even higher discount if that makes sense for you.
