When you make your first payment, we provide you with all your carats (credits for paying for orders) upfront for the entire year. Subsequently, you repay those carats in monthly installments over the course of one year.

In that scenario, our editors would have been paid for a year’s worth of work, but we would only be compensated for one month, which is unfair. To prevent such situations, we need to ensure the system is protected against theft, and we would take any breach of contract seriously (luckily, this has never happened, as we work with true professionals!)

Therefore, it’s important to be confident about your decision to sign up for a year before committing. We encourage you to test our services through a few Pay As You Go orders first to determine if we are the right fit for your needs. This way, you can experience our quality and ensure we meet your expectations before considering the membership.

By dividing 480 carats by 32, you can purchase a total of 15 highlight videos using this membership plan. Now, let’s compare the savings.

If you were to purchase each video individually using our ‘Pay As You Go’ pricing at $399 per video, the cost for 15 videos would be $5,985. However, with the Quartz membership priced at $5,100 for the year ($425/month), you can save a significant $885. This represents approximately 15% in savings compared to the individual pricing.

You are able to upgrade your plan at any time. This will not extend your term, but instead keep your original end date and provide you with a prorated amount of carats based on how far you are into your current term. Your plan will auto-renew on your annual renewal date at the upgraded plan tier unless you request to downgrade or cancel prior to renewal (we are reasonable people though — if you forget to downgrade or cancel and notify us within 7 days of your auto-renewal we will be happy to make the change for you!)

Cancellations or downgrades, on the other hand, can only be made at the end of your one-year term. You can submit a request for the change or cancellation at any time through our portal on the pricing page, but it’s important to understand that regardless of when you submit the request, the change will not take effect until your one-year renewal date.

Remember, any unused carats will roll over to the following year as long as you renew. This means that you can consider downgrading your plan based on your projected number of weddings and the amount of carats you have left over. Alternatively, if you happen to run out of carats before your renewal date, you can purchase more at the same discounted rate as your membership tier if you don’t think upgrading to the next plan up makes sense. This gives you the flexibility to adjust your plan and, if needed, sign up for a larger plan with an even higher discount if that makes sense for you.

If you happen to exhaust your carat balance before your renewal date, don’t worry! You have the option to purchase additional carats at any time. These additional carats can be obtained at the same discounted rate offered by your membership tier. Without any discount or membership tier, a single carat is valued at $12.50. However, if you are on the 20% off Amber tier, for example, each additional carat would be priced at just $10 (20% off of $12.50), allowing you to make the most of your membership perks.Enjoy the flexibility of adding more carats to your collection whenever you desire, all while benefiting from the corresponding membership discount.

If you run out of carats you can either purchase however many more you need to get you to your renewal date, OR if you anticipate needing more carats for the following year you can upgrade your plan at any time and receive a prorated amount of carats, depending on how far you are into your current term.

This means that you won’t lose the credits you’ve accumulated. You can carry them forward and utilize them in the upcoming year for your editing needs.
